A farm in Oregon, Oregon, is turning the once-vibrant greenhouses of its past into a farm in order to grow flowers for apple farmers.
Adams Fairacre Farms in the Rose Quarter is growing the plants from seedlings.
This farm is also turning into an apple farm.
“We have a huge love of apple.
We grew a lot of them growing up and we were trying to figure out what to do with them, and now that we’re grown we’re looking for new uses for them,” Lisa Adams said.”
Our farm was really just the perfect spot for our new plants to grow,” she added.
Adams’ family has been growing apples for generations.
She said her parents have always planted apples, and she and her husband started working on their apple farm as a teenager.
The family has grown the plants and started using them in their bakery and other retail stores.
“I just love the fact that they’re organic,” she said.
“They’re a really healthy food that we can use in a variety of ways.”
The farm is just one of a growing number of farms that are planting apples for apples, the most popular fruit of the summer season.
Apple growers are also planting plants that grow better, produce more and more fruit each year.
“It’s really about being able to produce what you want, and what you need to produce,” Adams said of growing apples.
