A man has been found guilty of the murder of a 5-month-old girl in rural Kentucky, according to authorities.
A jury found David Boones, 50, guilty of second-degree murder in the killing of a girl in Boone County in November 2016.
Boones was charged with first-degree felony child abuse in connection with the death of his daughter, according in the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Boone County District Attorney Bob Gieringer said Boones admitted killing his daughter during a “violent” attack.
Boones is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 16.
Boards farm near Payson, Kentucky, was the scene of a deadly attack last year in which a neighbor was killed by Boones daughter and Boones wife.
