What to be ready for when you are on the job: A full list of the most common injuries that workers are likely to suffer in India.
It includes workplace accidents, falls, falls on the work site, and workplace accidents resulting from negligence or improper work practices.
The list also includes falls, but is divided into four categories: falls resulting from the fall and a fall resulting from an injury, falls resulting in a head injury, and falls resulting to falls.
The list also indicates the number of injuries and fatalities due to occupational accidents.
As per a recent study by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), India is a major country in terms of its number of occupational accidents per 100,000 people, a figure that is increasing at a rate of 7 per cent annually.
In terms of occupational deaths, India is the most populous country in the world with a total of 2.1 million.
India has the highest number of accidents and fatalities per 100 million population of any country.
This is partly because of its high percentage of small, informal, and rural households.
The average number of workers is 2.5, which is about 30 per cent higher than the 2.3 per cent figure reported by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).
In terms of the number and seriousness of occupational injuries, India has one of the highest levels of workplace accidents in the country, with more than 1.3 million occupational injuries in 2012.
According to the National Injury Survey, 1.75 lakh workers were seriously injured on the farm in 2012, and 631,000 were injured during the harvest season.
In 2012, 4.7 per cent of Indian workers were injured while on the duty and 2.2 per cent were injured on industrial work.
In the agriculture sector, workers have an average of 4.2 injuries per 100 000 workers, while in the fishing industry, they had an average injury rate of 4 per 100 thousand.
In agriculture, workers tend to work during harvest season, when they are more vulnerable to falls and falls due to accidents.
Workers are more likely to be injured due to falls than to accidents, according to the IEA.
Workers on farmIn India, the number one cause of occupational injury in agriculture is the fall.
A study conducted by the IEEA in 2010 found that a farmer is twice as likely to die of a fall while on a farming job as a worker in a factory.
According to a report by IEEAs National Injury Study in 2010, farm workers were more likely than factory workers to be killed in farm accidents.
The IEE says that the fall on a field is the main cause of death among farm workers.
The study found that the rate of falls on a rural farm was about twice that of industrial workers, and the rate was higher among women.
The IEA report states that agricultural workers were the most at risk of being killed in accidents, with 7.4 per cent more farm workers dying of occupational falls in 2012 than industrial workers.
The Indian government is looking to address the problem of falling crops by improving safety measures for farm workers, according an IEE news release.
The government is also trying to create a system to ensure that workers on farms are given the required training and education on safety precautions.
The Indian government also has plans to develop an industrial farm safety system.
