In an effort to expand her business and make a living, Larriland Farms, located on the banks of the Colorado River in central Illinois, has hired actress Jodie Foster as a farm manager.
Foster, a former child star on the CW series Battlestar, will run the farm, according to a statement from the farm.
“Jodie’s experience and experience in managing other farms is a big asset in a rural setting,” the statement reads.
“She has worked with some of the top brands in the industry and has been a featured guest at several of the premier food and farming events in the Midwest.
She also has a wealth of experience working with dairy farmers and farmers’ markets, and we are excited to have her in our community.”
Foster, 40, has appeared in such movies as A Prairie Home Companion, The Good Wife, and The Good Place.
She is a member of the United States Air Force.
She has been nominated for two Golden Globes.
Foster is known for her roles in films such as The Princess Diaries and The Princess Bride.
